Smile Education is partnering with a welcoming secondary school in the Wolverhampton area to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic Sports, Dance & Drama Coach. The Role

  • You’ll work across the school supporting PE, Dance and Drama lessons, leading practical activities, encouraging participation, and helping students build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
  • You may also support extracurricular clubs, intervention sessions and school events.

Responsibilities

  • Support and deliver engaging PE, Dance and Drama activities.
  • Motivate and inspire students of all abilities to participate.
  • Promote teamwork, confidence and positive behaviour.
  • Assist teaching staff with practical lessons and classroom activities.
  • Lead or support lunchtime and after-school clubs where required.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable learning environment.
  • Follow all school safeguarding and behaviour policies.

We’re Looking For

  • Experience coaching sport, dance, drama or working with young people.
  • Qualifications in Sport, Dance, Drama, Performing Arts or related subjects are desirable but not essential.
  • Confident communication and strong behaviour management skills.
  • A positive, energetic and proactive attitude.
  • Graduates, aspiring PE teachers and performing arts professionals are encouraged to apply.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
