Smile Education is recruiting a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a welcoming primary school in Wolverhampton. This is a full-time, long-term role with an immediate start. The role is also open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to gain valuable additional classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Covering classes in the absence of the class teacher
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting pupil progress
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups where required
- Managing classroom behaviour confidently and effectively
- Working closely with teaching staff and senior leaders
Requirements:
- HLTA status OR QTS (ECTs welcome)
- Comfortable delivering lessons to whole classes
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term position
