What We’re Looking For

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working within EYFS and Year 1 settings.
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
  • Confidence delivering both small group interventions and one-to-one support.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Proven school-based experience supported by strong references.

The Role

  • Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 1 classroom.
  • Providing dedicated one-to-one support for a child with SEN.
  • Assisting with interventions to support academic and social development.
  • Helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure pupils receive the support they need to succeed.
