The Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons that encourage participation and promote a positive attitude towards physical education and wellbeing. You will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside of the classroom environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Encouraging participation and promoting healthy lifestyles
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for sport, physical education and inspiring young people
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, energetic and adaptable approach
