Smile Education is working in partnership with The Endeavour Multi Academy Trust to recruit a Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a primary school in Wolverhampton. The school offers weekly shifts, with the potential for long-term and consistent work for the right candidate. This role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs, particularly those with SEMH and ADHD, and assisting with general staff absence where required.

The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have recent experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school
- Be confident supporting pupils with SEMH and ADHD
- Hold a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Be able to work independently while also taking direction from the class teacher
- Demonstrate the ability to de-escalate challenging situations and manage behaviour effectively
- Be flexible, proactive, and able to accept morning bookings due to the nature of the role
- Provide a minimum of two references covering the past two years
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education
