Smile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Brownhills (WS8) to recruit a dedicated Teacher to cover maternity leave in their Specialist Resource Provision (SRP). This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in a well-supported SEND setting.

About the Role

  • Teaching a small SRP class of 8 wonderful pupils
  • Children are aged 7–10 years
  • All pupils have a diagnosis of Communication Needs / Autism (ASD)
  • Supported in class by two experienced Teaching Assistants
  • Oversight and guidance from an excellent SENDCo
  • Long-term role covering maternity leave (approximately 9–12 months)

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
