Smile Education is looking for passionate and dedicated Nursery Teachers to join welcoming and supportive primary settings in Stockton-on-Tees. The daily rate for this role is £140 – £200 per day depending on experience.
- The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Support children’s development through both structured teaching and child-led play
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress
- Promote early literacy, communication, numeracy and social development
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence, resilience and confidence
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Recent experience teaching within Early Years
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- Excellent classroom practice and behaviour management
