Smile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Solihull to recruit an enthusiastic Unqualified Geography/Humanities Teacher to support teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 starting as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. This role is ideal for a Geography graduate or someone with strong subject knowledge who is passionate about the subject and enjoys helping students understand the world around them through engaging and meaningful lessons.
The Role
- Deliver Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 following the school’s curriculum
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging lessons that encourage curiosity and critical thinking
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with clear expectations
- Support students’ learning and monitor their progress
- Work closely with the humanities department and teaching staff
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a degree in Geography or a related subject
