This is an exciting role for a passionate educator looking to make a genuine impact within a supportive and ambitious school environment. This opportunity would suit an experienced Science Teacher or an ECT looking to develop within a school that values high standards, strong relationships and engaging teaching practices.

The Role: As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that encourage curiosity and help students develop confidence across the Science curriculum. You will be joining a welcoming department committed to achieving positive outcomes for students. Responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics across the curriculum where required
  • Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues within the wider department and school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for Science and inspiring young people
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
