Smile Education are recruiting for a Primary teacher to work in a 2‑form entry primary school in the West Bromwich area. The role would be working at a school with strong long‑standing SLT members and very positive feedback from previous staff members. The Primary teacher role is long‑term, full time with full teaching responsibilities starting from January, with the potential of becoming a permanent position.
The responsibilities of the Primary Teacher role:
- Plan and deliver captivating lessons to students in KS2 in line with the curriculum.
- Focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback, and nurture a love for learning.
- Structure lesson plans for different levels of student needs.
- Work closely with teaching assistants in the classroom.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Teaching certification or QTS.
- Proficiency in the primary curriculum and effective instructional techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
