ECT/Newly Qualified Primary Teachers – Leicestershire

Have you recently finished – or will be finishing this summer - training to be a primary teacher on a PGCE/School Direct or ITT? Are you looking to secure work in a good primary school for the new academic year? Are you looking for help and guidance through the sometimes complicated and competitive process of finding the right school?

Smile Education have supported a great number of ECTs over the past ten years in finding that all important school to start their full-time teaching career. We understand the hurdles ECTs can face in this process and know the best way to guide you to your perfect job.

I recruit for primary schools and have strong relationships with schools across Leicestershire. When you register with Smile, we go to great lengths to find out about you and what you’re looking for, the Key Stage you’d like to teach in and in what areas. We then take you ‘to market’ to try and find that best match for you. We will also guide and advise you through the interview and lesson observation process which we know can be daunting for trainee teachers that have not been through the process.
