We are recruiting dedicated support staff to work across a variety of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Hyde and the surrounding Greater Manchester area for September starts.

Whether you’re looking for daily supply, short‑term assignments, or long‑term positions, we’d love to hear from you.

Pay

£95 – £110 per day (depending on experience and role)

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils on a one‑to‑one basis and in small groups.
  • Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom activities.
  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEND).
  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Preparing learning resources and classroom activities.
  • Helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills.
  • Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Following safeguarding and school policies at all times.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
  • A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, flexible and professional attitude.
  • Contactable professional references covering the last 24 months.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS through Smile Education (payment required).
  • Right to work in the UK.
