The predicted salary is between 28000 - 35000 Β£ per year.

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to provide PPA cover in Year 2, covering a period of maternity leave, in a friendly one form entry primary school. This role is ideal for a teacher who has completed their ECT and is confident delivering high-quality teaching in Key Stage 1, with a particular focus on Year 2.

Key Details

  • Role: Year 2 PPA Cover Teacher (Maternity Cover)
  • Contract: Fixed-term (maternity cover)
  • Pay: In line with teacher pay scale (MPS)
  • Start: As soon as possible (or by agreement)

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have completed their ECT
  • Be UK trained and UK experienced
  • Have recent experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective behaviour strategies
  • Be committed to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that support pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff

Please Note: Only UK-trained teachers with UK classroom experience will be considered. Overseas qualifications or experience cannot be accepted.
