We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to provide PPA cover in Year 2, covering a period of maternity leave, in a friendly one form entry primary school. This role is ideal for a teacher who has completed their ECT and is confident delivering high-quality teaching in Key Stage 1, with a particular focus on Year 2.
Key Details
- Role: Year 2 PPA Cover Teacher (Maternity Cover)
- Contract: Fixed-term (maternity cover)
- Pay: In line with teacher pay scale (MPS)
- Start: As soon as possible (or by agreement)
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have completed their ECT
- Be UK trained and UK experienced
- Have recent experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective behaviour strategies
- Be committed to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that support pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff
Please Note: Only UK-trained teachers with UK classroom experience will be considered. Overseas qualifications or experience cannot be accepted.
