The Role:

  • Delivering pre-set lesson plans across Music and additional subjects where required
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged in learning
  • Supporting students to complete class activities and tasks
  • Creating a positive and encouraging learning environment
  • Assisting with general classroom duties and school expectations
  • Building positive relationships with students and staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A passion for Music and education
  • Experience working with young people, schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work, performing arts or similar settings (desirable)
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Confidence leading groups of students
  • A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
  • A Music-related qualification or background would be advantageous but is not essential
