As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles. You may also have opportunities to support extracurricular sport, enrichment activities, and school teams, depending on the placement. This role is suitable for individuals with experience in school settings, sports coaching, or sport-related education, and is open to both experienced staff and those looking to build further experience within schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Promote health, fitness, participation, and teamwork through structured activities
- Adapt sessions to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Maintain behaviour in line with school policies
- Support students in engaging with physical activity safely and effectively
- Contribute to extracurricular sport, fixtures, and school events where required
- Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold school expectations
Requirements
- Have experience working with young people in a school, coaching, or sports environment
- Ideally have experience delivering or supporting PE lessons
- Hold a sport-related degree (preferred but not essential)
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom control
- Be professional, reliable, and well presented
- Have a clear interest in sport, fitness, and student development
- Be able to engage and motivate students of all abilities
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
Pay & Benefits
- 150 - 220 per day, dependent on experience
- Long-term, stable placements
- Full-time roles with potential part-time flexibility
- Dedicated support from experienced education consultants
- Ongoing guidance and support throughout the placement
