Are you a passionate and nurturing Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role where no two days are the same? At Smile Education, we are working in partnership with welcoming and inclusive primary schools seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with a range of additional needs. Whether you're supporting a child on a 1:1 basis within the classroom or working alongside a small group of pupils in a dedicated on-site SEN Hub, you'll play a vital role in helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing tailored support to pupils with additional learning needs
  • Supporting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and non-verbal communication needs
  • Delivering interventions and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
  • Encouraging confidence, independence and positive engagement in learning
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider support staff to ensure every child reaches their potential

We're Looking For:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Previous experience working with children within a UK educational setting
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN, particularly Autism, ADHD or non-verbal children (highly desirable)
  • A patient, resilient and caring approach
  • A genuine passion for helping children succeed
