Smile Education is recruiting a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bradley Green, with easy access from Hyde, Denton, Dukinfield, Ashton-under-Lyne, Stalybridge, Gee Cross, Mottram, Broadbottom and Glossop.
This is a full-time, one-term opportunity supporting a Year 6 class from September 2026. The school is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant who can make an immediate impact while they complete a permanent recruitment process. The school is well regarded for its caring ethos, high expectations and commitment to helping every child reach their full potential. Staff work collaboratively to provide engaging learning experiences and create a positive environment where pupils feel supported, challenged and encouraged to succeed.
The Role
- Support teaching and learning within a Year 6 classroom.
- Confidently cover lessons when required.
- Support pupils with additional needs, including ADHD.
- Assist pupils in preparing for Year 6 SATs.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience working in UK primary schools.
- Confidence leading a class when required.
- Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ADHD.
- Knowledge of Year 6 and SATs preparation.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- A positive, proactive and reliable approach.
