Smile Education is currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic HLTAs to support SEN schools and alternative provisions across Birmingham. This role is ideal for confident support staff who have experience leading small groups, covering lessons and supporting pupils with additional needs including Autism, SEMH, ADHD and complex learning difficulties.

The Role

  • Deliver planned interventions and small group support sessions.
  • Cover lessons in the absence of teaching staff when required.
  • Support pupils with EHCPs and additional learning needs.
  • Encourage engagement, independence and positive behaviour.
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support pupil progress.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Requirements
