Smile Education are proud to be supporting a specialist school in Tamworth in their search for a passionate and adaptable General QTS Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This rewarding role is initially until May half term, with the strong potential to continue through until the end of the summer term. The school supports students with a wide range of additional needs, including:

  • ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
  • ADHD
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
  • PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)

The school are open-minded in their search and welcome applications from teachers with or without previous SEN experience. What matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to get involved, and the ability to fully immerse yourself in school life.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience: Previous SEN experience is desirable but absolutely not essential. The school are happy to support a teacher who is eager to make a difference and develop within a specialist setting.
