The predicted salary is between 18900 - 25200 £ per year.
We are looking for a rare individual with a variety of SEN/SEMH experience to work 1:1 with a child in Year 1. You'll be confident in utilising communication tools and have experience with personal care and be intensive interaction trained. The school is a wonderful catholic primary school with a welcoming environment who will support you every step of the way.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing tailored support to pupils with additional learning needs
- Supporting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and non-verbal communication needs
- Delivering interventions and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
- Encouraging confidence, independence and positive engagement in learning
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and wider support staff to ensure every child reaches their potential
We're Looking For
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience working with children within a UK Primary School
- Experience supporting a Reception class
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN, particularly Autism, ADHD or non‑verbal children (highly desirable)
- A patient, resilient and caring approach
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed
