Contract: Full-time, long-term (full academic year)

Pay: In line with Level 3 TA scale

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are currently recruiting a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time, long-term basis at a welcoming primary school in the B15 area of Birmingham. This role is for the full academic year and offers a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in EYFS within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide in-class support for EYFS pupils
  • Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and progress
  • Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions
  • Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those requiring additional support
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and assessment support
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and other support staff
Requirements
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
  • Experience supporting pupils within EYFS, ideally reception
  • Confidence working independently and delivering interventions
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A caring, proactive, and professional approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
