Are you a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Smile Education is currently recruiting for a Class Teacher (SEND / SLCN) to work within a supportive and welcoming school in Welholme.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEND and Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and parents to support pupil progress
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
- Encourage confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEND and/or SLCN pupils
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
- Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
