Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming mainstream primary school in Burton upon Trent for a qualified teacher to work within their dedicated SEND Hub. This part-time position is due to start in September and will involve providing cover on a weekly basis for 2–3 days per week. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils with a range of additional needs, delivering engaging and tailored learning experiences within a supportive specialist environment.
The Role
- Teaching and supporting pupils within the school's SEND Hub
- Delivering differentiated lessons and interventions to meet individual learning needs
- Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and wider school colleagues
- Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching approaches where required
