Pay: £140–£200 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess progress and support children in reaching their full potential.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high teaching standards.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT.
  • Minimum 6 months' UK classroom experience (placements accepted for ECTs).
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality primary education.
  • A positive, child-centred approach to teaching.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
  • Ability to provide two years of employment and/or education references, including one relating to working with children.
  • Right to work in the UK. Please note: Sponsorship is not available.

Registration & Compliance

Successful applicants will complete Smile Education's safeguarding and compliance registration process. Registrations are arranged promptly once all documentation has been received to ensure you are cleared for work as quickly as possible.
