Smile Education is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic HLTAs and Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to support SEN schools and specialist provisions across Central Birmingham.
This role is ideal for experienced SEN support staff who are passionate about inclusive education and making a positive impact on pupils with additional needs.
The Role
- Provide classroom support for pupils with a range of SEN needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions and 1:1 support sessions.
- Support pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD and communication needs.
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom preparation.
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff.

Requirements
- HLTA qualification or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Previous SEN support experience preferred.

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
