SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Cannock WS15 We are working with a local primary school who are on the lookout for a dedicated special educational needs (SEN) teaching assistant to support children within mainstream lessons. The role is long-term and full-time working with children from Reception to Year 3 with a range of SEN. The Role: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and physical disabilities. Assist the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. Promote inclusion and ensure all students have equal access to learning opportunities and resources. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting. 24 months worth of references with at least 1 working with children in the UK. A valid DBS registered to the update service or willingness to obtain one. Valid right to work in the UK documents.
