We are working with a growing, forward thinking digital agency to find a Mid‑Senior E‑commerce Designer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware, concept led designer with strong experience in eCommerce UX/UI, particularly someone who understands how to design for conversion and the full online buying journey.
This role is fully remote, however you must be based in the UK.
The Role
As a Mid‑Senior Designer, you will play a key role in shaping creative output across a range of eCommerce focused projects. This position requires someone who is not only strong visually, but who has practical experience designing eCommerce journeys including product detail pages, category/catalogue structures, basket and checkout flows, and understands how users move from browsing to purchase. You will be confident taking work from early stage concepts through to high fidelity UI and delivery, while ensuring designs are grounded in user behaviour and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of UX and UI design solutions specifically for eCommerce platforms
- Design and optimise key journey touchpoints including homepage, product pages, catalogue/navigation, basket and checkout experiences
- Apply strong understanding of user journeys, conversion, and online buying behaviour
- Drive concept development, translating ideas into clear, effective creative
- Contribute to pitch work and presentations, bringing ideas to life with confidence
- Produce high quality designs and interactive prototypes in Figma
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation
- Balance creative thinking with commercial outcomes, focusing on performance and usability
What we are looking for:
- A mid‑to‑senior level designer with a strong eCommerce portfolio (essential)
- Demonstrable experience designing end‑to‑end eCommerce journeys, not just visual assets
- Strong UX and UI skills, ideally gained in an agency or fast paced environment
- Experience working on product pages, checkout flows, and conversion-focused design
- Confident contributing to concept and pitch stage work
- A strategic thinker who understands user intent and purchasing behaviour
- Advanced proficiency in Figma
- Comfortable collaborating with developers and cross functional teams
- Detail‑oriented with a proactive, commercially aware mindset
This role is less suited to designers focused primarily on social, branding, or marketing assets without hands‑on eCommerce journey experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with video or motion design
- Strong capability in building Figma prototypes for testing and presentation
Why Apply?
- Fully remote working (UK‑based only)
- Opportunity to work on high impact eCommerce projects
- Collaborative, ambitious team environment
- Real ownership, from concept through to delivery
If you are a designer who understands how people shop online and can design experiences that convert, we would love to hear from you. Apply now for immediate consideration.
