A creative agency in Central London is looking for a talented Filmmaker to join their media production team on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential to go permanent. This is a hands on, multi-faceted role where you will lead filming, editing, and creative direction across social content and wider projects, helping shape the visual identity of the company’s work.
Your role will involve:
- Acting as the main point of contact for a key client’s social content, managing creative direction, filming, and editing for approximately 12 days per month.
- Planning and executing shoots from pre-production to post-production, including lighting, shot composition, and on-set coordination.
- Delivering high quality video content aligned with brand guidelines and the company’s creative standards.
- Collaborating with creative, strategy, and post-production teams to develop concepts, treatments, storyboards, and shot lists.
- Maintaining camera equipment and overseeing technical aspects of production.
- Contributing to wider company projects, supporting visual storytelling across multiple campaigns.
- Staying up to date on industry trends, new technologies, and creative techniques to continually enhance output.
We need you to have:
- Proven experience as a Filmmaker with a strong portfolio of high quality work.
- Proficient with a range of camera equipment and filmmaking techniques.
- Strong knowledge of lighting setups, colour grading, and post-production workflows.
- Skilled in video editing, sound design, and creating social-first and long-form content.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to different project requirements and deadlines.
