Job Description Fire & Security Engineer - Bristol and surrounding areas - £34k-£40k plus overtime Benefits: Company van, fuel card, overtime, pension and additional benefits \n We are working with an established and growing fire and security business that is looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join its team, covering Bristol and the surrounding areas. \n What you will be doing \n Your role will be predominantly service and maintenance focused, working across a range of residential and commercial sites. \n \n \n Servicing, maintaining and repairing fire alarm and electronic security systems. \n \n Working across CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and fire detection systems. \n \n Completing smaller installation works and system upgrades when required. \n \n Attending reactive call-outs and helping customers resolve technical issues. \n \n Ensuring work meets relevant industry standards and health and safety requirements. \n \n Building positive relationships with customers and working closely with the wider service team. \n \n Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota. \n \n What we are looking for \n We would love to speak with engineers who have: \n \n \n Around two to three years' experience in fire and security engineering, ideally within service and maintenance. \n \n Hands-on experience with fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems. \n \n A full UK driving licence. \n \n Industry qualifications such as FIA or City & Guilds would be advantageous, as would knowledge of BS 5839, NSI, BAFE and IP-based security systems. \n \n Paid overtime opportunities. \n \n Company van and fuel card. \n \n Company pension. \n \n Training and development opportunities. \n If you are an experienced Fire & Security Engineer in the Bristol area and would like to explore a new opportunity, we would love to have a conversation. \n Apply with your CV or contact Sarah at Smile Digital Talent for a confidential chat. \
