Smile Dental Care is seeking a dedicated Minor Oral Surgery Dental Nurse to join our friendly and experienced clinical team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside highly skilled clinicians, assisting with a variety of oral surgery procedures while delivering exceptional patient care.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting our Minor Oral Surgery service, ensuring procedures run smoothly while providing reassurance and outstanding care to patients throughout their treatment journey.
We are looking for someone who
- Is a qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
- Has experience assisting with minor oral surgery procedures (preferred but not essential for candidates with a strong surgical interest).
- Has excellent cross-infection control knowledge.
- Is calm, organised and able to work efficiently in a clinical environment.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Is committed to maintaining high clinical standards and continuing professional development.
- What you'll be doing
- Chairside assistance during minor oral surgery procedures.
- Preparing surgeries, instruments and equipment.
- Supporting clinicians with patient assessments and treatment planning.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Ensuring compliance with HTM 01-05 and infection prevention protocols.
- Delivering a reassuring and professional experience for every patient.
