* Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
* Prepare and maintain the dental surgery environment, including sterilisation of instruments and equipment.
* Manage patient records accurately, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
* Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, post-operative care, and oral hygiene instructions.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.
* Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote a safe environment for both staff and patients.
*Experience*
* Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar healthcare role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are crucial for effective patient interaction.
* Proficiency in IT systems related to patient management and record keeping is advantageous.
