Smile Box provides personalised, branded gift boxes designed to improve staff wellbeing, boost employee engagement, and encourage conversations around mental health.
In just three years, we’ve gained a strong foothold in corporate, health, and education sectors, with a 70% customer return rate.
Our ambitious plans include launching new products to support male mental health and scaling up operations.
Role Purpose
You will manage incoming enquiries, identify sales or partnership opportunities, and prospect for new clients, promoting Smile Box’s benefits.
From first contact to delivery, you’ll work closely with our Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator and Operations Manager to provide an excellent service and increase the likelihood of repeat customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales processes from enquiry to post-sales support.
- Prospect for new clients (70% outbound, 30% inbound).
- Raise brand awareness through Linked In, events, and client interactions.
- Develop and manage CRM workflows to optimise sales opportunities.
- Contribute to digital marketing and content creation to enhance our online presence.
- Analyse metrics to track performance and optimise customer acquisition.
- Support event marketing and campaigns for key occasions like Mental Health Awareness Week.
About you
We’re looking for a confident, empathetic communicator who can build rapport and deliver solutions.
You’ll be proactive, positive, resilient, and driven to exceed expectations.
Experience in B2B sales is essential, alongside project management and IT proficiency.
An interest in wellbeing, employee engagement and ED&I is an advantage.
Skills and Experience
- B2B sales or business development background.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Hubspot preferably), Linked In, Canva, and Microsoft Office.
- Creative thinker with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Resilience is essential in this sales role as you will hear ‘no thanks’ daily, but bouncebackability and being able to move on to the next opportunity with the right energy is crucial.
