About the role
We are looking for an Influencer Manager to join Boots Media Group (BMG).
While the role sits within SMG, you will be fully embedded into the Boots team, acting as the dedicated influencer expert across Retail Media.
You’ll bring together Boots strategy, supplier objectives, creator expertise and commercial opportunity to shape and deliver standout supplier-funded influencer activity.
From the initial brief and strategic recommendation through to creator selection, contracting, activation and evaluation, you’ll ensure campaigns work for supplier brands while feeling unmistakably right for Boots and its customers.
Alongside leading campaign delivery, you’ll help grow the proposition commercially, build trusted relationships across Boots and its supplier partners, and explore the next generation of influencer, creator-commerce and performance-led opportunities.
- What you’ll do
- Lead the strategic approach to supplier-funded influencer campaigns, translating briefs into clear, compelling strategies and activation plans.
- Recommend the right creators, platforms, formats and activation models based on the audience, objective and role within the customer journey.
- Make sure activity aligns with the wider Boots brand, social, content and influencer strategy as well as individual supplier objectives.
- Lead campaigns from brief to delivery, overseeing influencer selection, outreach, briefing, negotiation, contracting and execution.
- Build trusted relationships with supplier brands and act as their go-to influencer expert within Boots and BMG.
- Lead influencer discussions in supplier meetings, presenting strategies, recommendations, results and future opportunities.
- Take ownership of the commercial health of the proposition, negotiating creator fees, protecting margins and identifying opportunities to grow investment.
- Develop integrated opportunities across influencer events, programmes, content partnerships and emerging creator-commerce models.
- Partner closely with teams across Boots Marketing, Social, Content, Influencer, Media, Commercial and Category.
- Coach and support junior team members and establish clear best-practice standards for influencer activity.
- Bring fresh thinking from the creator economy, social platforms, affiliate and social commerce into the Boots supplier-funded influencer proposition.
- What we’re looking for
- Demonstrable experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, social media or integrated marketing, either agency-side or client-side.
- Strong experience independently planning and delivering influencer campaigns from brief through to execution.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK creator landscape and an understanding of how creators can influence awareness, consideration, advocacy and conversion.
- Experience negotiating creator fees, contracts, usage rights and commercial terms.
- A commercial mindset, including an understanding of margins, profitability and growing investment from clients or brand partners.
- Experience working directly with brands or clients, with confidence presenting strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple organisations and stakeholder groups.
- Experience coaching or supporting junior team members and setting clear standards of best practice.
- Strong organisation and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders.
- Sound strategic judgement, balancing supplier needs with the Boots brand and customer experience.
- An understanding of retail media, affiliate marketing, social commerce or performance-led creator models would be highly beneficial.
