About the role
We are looking for a Client Manager to join our Boots Media Group team.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of retail media campaigns, from client agreement through to successful execution.
- Drive campaign performance, optimisation, and reporting to achieve client objectives.
- Own and develop assigned media channels, identifying opportunities for growth and increased commercial value.
- Support the Senior Management team in delivering commercial targets across Boots Media Group.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional campaign delivery.
- Coach and support Client Management team members, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Help shape best practices and contribute to the continued growth of Boots Media Group.
What you’ll do
- Leadership & Development: Manage and develop direct reports, holding weekly one-to-one meetings, setting quarterly work plans, and conducting six-month performance reviews.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships across BMG, Boots, and supplier brands to deliver co-branded marketing campaigns aligned with Very’s strategy.
- Creative & Strategic Planning: Develop insight-led creative proposals that bring ideas to life and inspire your wider team to adopt a best-in-class approach for all supplier opportunities.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the end-to-end planning and delivery of campaigns within your category, ensuring alignment with internal processes, brand tiering, and seamless execution.
- Category Ownership: Lead strategic management of supplier brands, developing co-branded marketing plans that balance supplier objectives with BMG’s wider brand moments. Ensure plans are commercially viable, budget-compliant, and contribute to net targets.
- Channel Ownership: Own and lead the strategic direction of your media channel, overseeing inventory management, Boots stakeholder relationships, operational processes, and innovation initiatives.
- Performance & Reporting: Support your team in campaign reporting, driving continuous improvement in how data and performance are communicated to stakeholders.
- Media Optimisation: Manage in-flight reporting and optimisation for select media channels such as Criteo and Paid Social, using insights to inform future campaign delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor campaign performance and apply learnings to enhance future activity and outcomes.
What we’re looking for
- 6–12 months’ experience coaching and managing a team member
- Experience in marketing, ideally within retail or agency environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients with strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence working with data, budgets, and financial reporting (Excel proficiency required)
- Demonstrated success in planning and delivering strategic marketing campaigns
