Smestow Pattern & Tool ltd, are looking for an experienced CNC machinist to join our team.
We are well established pattern making business based in Sedgley. We specialise in foundry tooling, an ideal candidate would have experience in machining on 3 - axis cnc milling machines (Hardinge, Bridgeport) using materials such as aluminium, cast iron and resin board. With experience in programming paths and setting of machines, we use NCG CAM for programming paths. But on site training is available to get used to our controls.
Working hours are 08:00am to 16:30am Monday to Thursday with early finish on Friday working 08:00am to 1.00pm.
Overtime available when required (generally is on at 1 extra hour a day and 4 on a Saturday morning) Rate of pay - Negotiable considering experience £18 - £20 per hour (overtime rate, standard rate + 1/3) . 25 days annual leave + 8 standard bank holidays. Immediate start available for the right candidate .
