Who are Smeets Ferry? We are one of the largest trailer operators on ferry routes between the UK & Netherlands. We operate a fleet of 650 XL Euroliner trailers and on the UK side we also run our own fleet of 104 trucks. We are investing heavily in keeping IT solutions up to date, without losing that personal service to all our clients. More info can be found at www.smeets.nl
The Role: We are searching for an ambitious, driven person to help increase our customer base in the UK whilst working closely alongside our UK sales department. You will establish close links with current clients, and with any new business. You will also be working closely with our operations and customs teams to assist with delivering a top service to all new and existing clients. We are an open company and looking for people who can also bring fresh ideas.
Experience: Some years is essential in a similar position or within our market. Have worked in European Transport, Export Processing and some export customs will be helpful.
We offer: Salary: Negotiable, this role is mainly office based - Felixstowe. You will also have the chance to meet with colleagues in other UK & NL offices.
