Role Summary:We are looking for an organised and proactive Recruitment Administrator to join our People team on a part‑time fixed‑term contract (15 hours per week) to provide maternity cover.
This role is responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day administration of our recruitment process, ensuring candidates receive a professional experience while enabling hiring managers to recruit efficiently. Working closely with the Recruitment & Retention Lead and hiring managers across the business, you’ll coordinate recruitment activity from advert publication through to offer stage, maintaining accurate records and helping ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
The role is expected to last approximately 6–8 months, although the exact duration will depend on the return of the substantive postholder.
Key Responsibilities:- Publish approved vacancies on our Applicant Tracking System (Recruitee).
- Review applications and reject candidates who do not meet the required screening criteria.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Act as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Issue verbal offers and coordinate agreed start dates.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment data within Recruitee.
- Close vacancies and carry out general maintenance of the Applicant Tracking System.
- Ensure recruitment administration is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support the Recruitment & Retention Lead with additional recruitment and people administration as required.
- Previous administration experience.
- Experience coordinating interviews or managing busy diaries.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Professional, approachable and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Previous experience in recruitment, HR or talent acquisition administration.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ideally Recruitee.
