We believe the world’s fastest driver hasn’t raced…yet. FAT Karting League’s mission is to achieve mass participation in motorsport by radically reducing the barriers to entry. We run karting events across the UK throughout the year to cater for drivers with different levels of experience, that creates a pathway from age 6-17. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working mechanic – with a passion for motorsport – to join our technical team. The role will involve working in the workshop in Oxfordshire during the week and potentially travelling to different karting circuits around the UK at weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of a fleet of electric race karts
- Maintenance of equipment and hardware associated with karting events
- Repairing karts in a pressurised environment at race events
- Assisting with the logistics required for live race events
We are looking for a mechanic with at least a year’s experience to join our team to assist in the preparation and maintenance of karts. Ideally you should have experience with race cars, motorbikes or karts. If you have the mechanical skills in other areas, and want to develop a career in motorsport, we would still like to hear from you.
