The Fire Risk Assessor will be in the Cardiff or Newport area with extensive travel expected. The FRA works with new and existing customers and will hold industry relevant qualifications and will be experienced in carrying out a variety of fire risk assessments on a variety of sites.
Qualifications & experience:
Will be registered to an industry recognised body including ISE/IFSM/IFPO/IFE.
Will ideally hold MIFSM/IFE membership.
Will hold industry recognised fire risk assessment/ fire safety qualifications (preferably NEBOSH).
Hold experience in undertaking type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments.
Role responsibilities:
Undertaking Fire Risk Assessments in various industry sectors, including commercial, industrial, and residential.
Fire plan drawings, fire drills, fire warden, use of extinguishers etc.
Providing Fire and Safety Guidance and investigating incidents and producing fire risk assessments reports.
Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety Legislation regarding fire and advising customers of all professional requirements.
Overall, the successful candidate will bring their excellent technical experience working in the fire risk industry and will demonstrate a strong work ethic.
