This is a fantastic career opportunity; you can earn good money, and in the next 5 or so years become a Director and get equity in the company. The business provides services that help retail business owners who are looking to sell their business; it could be someone who owns one or two retail sites, or bigger organisations with hundreds. The services help them with things like contracts and regulatory paperwork. You\’ll engage with them, and develop relationships; go out to meet them and talk about the services. A more experienced colleague will then deal with the quotes and finalise the deal; you\’ll be opening the doors for this to happen. The visits will be across the country, and will be planned out so you\’ll see several businesses in the same area on that day. This means your hours will vary; you may need to set off at 6am some days, but can then finish early (or you may choose to make more sales calls instead if you want to make more money). WHAT YOU\’LL GET A basic salary of between £24,420-£35,000 (depending on experience etc); plus access to a car. And you\’ll get uncapped commission; which means that how much you earn is down to you, and the work you put in. 10-12k a year in bonus should be initially achievable, and more in time. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT A team of 3 experienced people are currently doing this, but they have so much on, so they\’re looking to take on one, maybe two, graduates to train up and develop. Initially you\’ll be going on visits with them, but in time you\’ll be doing it yourself. WHAT YOU\’LL NEED There is some flexibility in degree type. Some kind of sales experience is preferred. Or there may be other ways you have shown aptitude; perhaps you organised and promoted your own club night or event; or maybe you played sports to a decent level. Or you don\’t need a degree if you have some experience in a role such as estate agency or property sales. You\’ll need to be happy speaking with people face-to face- and not be afraid of picking up the phone. And you should be happy to work to targets. WHERE YOU\’LL BE DOING IT You will be in the office in Coventry for 2 days a week; the other days you can work from home, and you\’ll also be out and about visiting customers
