The business is a trade association, which represents businesses in a specific industry sector. Those businesses are members of the association, and there will be a lot of event related work throughout the year for them; including webinars, training sessions, conferences, and industry events.

You’ll play a big part in the end-to-end coordination of these: from marketing campaigns (including social media) and delegate sales; through to booking, logistics, and administration. And you’ll get to attend the events to make sure that all goes to plan on the day. After the event, you will analyse how it went and see if any improvements can be made for the future.

There will also be more general marketing duties as part of the role, including website updates, email campaigns, and content creation. It’s a supportive and collaborative working culture, and there will be lots of opportunities for ongoing professional development and training.

The ideal candidate will have a Marketing or Events related degree, and preferably some related experience (even if it is voluntary). Though other degrees will be considered if you have some experience. You’ll need to be organised, proactive, and happy dealing with people. You should be based in commuting distance of the west side of Coventry, and happy to travel to events where required.
