SMC are looking to recruit an experienced production technician to join the team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support the team to ensure manufacturing orders (MO's) are completed in line with expectations of both internal and external customers. You will ensure quality is maintained, aiming for a "Right First Time" approach on all build requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete the assembly of the manufacturing order by assembling the product within the recommended company timescales.
- Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, or other verbal or written instructions.
- Build up components and sub-assemblies into finished electrical or mechanical products.
- Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer and internal standards and specifications.
- Monitor the assembly process and carry out the relevant testing and quality checks.
- Report equipment faults to the team leader.
