We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to teach and support elite sport learners. This will include developing both the curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment strategies that support learners progressing through sport talent pathways.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed, both through face‑to‑face and online delivery.
- Learner progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability.
Qualifications & Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and teaching qualification, extensive teaching and vocational experience in further education, and experience of elite sport and high‑performance environments.
- A full, valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to off‑site locations are required.
- You will possess strong interpersonal, organisational, planning and administrative skills, and be able to work to deadlines.
- Knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies, including online delivery, is essential.
