We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Business to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College. Due to growth in the department, we are looking for an engaging, innovative, and dynamic teacher to teach and assess across units and, when required, cover lessons. Responsibilities

  • To deliver high quality and challenging learning experiences
  • To lead and devise appropriate assessments and assessment strategies and feedback to learners through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods
  • To deliver inspiring teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed
  • To monitor students' progress to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Work effectively in a large cross‑curricular team
  • Excellent planning and administration skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies
  • Possess a degree in a relevant subject area
  • Possess a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
