We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual nursery support worker to join our team at Radmoor Nursery, based on the Loughborough College campus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the environment is safe, welcoming and caring at all times.
  • Safeguard children, young people and vulnerable adults in line with the guidance and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Children’s Board (LSCB).
  • Support the individual needs of a child, ensuring that activities planned are age‑appropriate and meet a child’s next developmental steps.
  • Deliver high quality learning experiences for all children, planning and facilitating a variety of engaging activities.
  • Create a fun, safe, stimulating, caring and welcoming environment for children.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Significant experience of working within the childcare sector.
  • Knowledge of Early Years Development.
  • Minimum Level 2 Child Care / Play Works qualification or willingness to work toward this qualification.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • All applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
