We have an exciting opportunity for a Sessional Accommodation Support Officer to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Brooksby. This casual vacancy requires out of office hours working including weekends and bank holidays on a flexible rota basis as we are staffed 24/7. Working patterns available are:
- Weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday: 07:30 – 23:00 – various shifts
- Monday to Friday evenings: 17:00 – 23:00
Applicants must be over 18 years of age, be routinely available for the above times and have flexibility to cover other shifts. An enhanced DBS check and induction training will be required prior to shift allocation.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the running of all aspects of accommodation services to ensure full compliance with health and safety, housing and accommodation legislation, wellbeing and security for 181 resident students aged 16‑18.
- Undertake First Aid at Work training.
- Provide 24/7 site support cover, emergency call‑outs, sickness and holiday cover to provide service cover at key times.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualifications in Maths and English Levels 4‑9 (GCSE Grades A-C) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Good level of administration, organisation and IT skills.
- Previous experience working in a role with children or vulnerable adults.
The successful candidate will be employed by The Leicestershire College, a subsidiary company of Loughborough College Group. Please note that employees are based at one of the campus locations. We are unable to provide skilled worker sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
