Our teams are partnering with Sumitomo Mitsui Finance Dublin Limited (SMFD), building a significant new capability hub in Dublin. As part of this build-out, we're seeking a Product Owner to take responsibility for a portfolio of compliance technology platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of EMEA compliance functions.

Sumitomo Mitsui Finance Dublin Limited (SMFD) is a wholly owned subsidiary of SMBC and is growing rapidly as a Centre of Excellence for the bank's universal banking business across EMEA. It provides a range of technology and operational support services, aligned to SMBC's growth, innovation, and transformation strategies.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the product, platform, applications, and services for compliance technology across the EMEA region.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of analysts, developers, infrastructure specialists, and vendor partners to deliver strategic compliance IT solutions.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with compliance functions, collecting requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Oversee system enhancements, vendor relationships, and the replacement of legacy systems in line with strategic IT objectives.
  • Contribute to domain architecture and solution design, including RFPs for new system selections, risk assessments, and operational reviews.

  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory landscapes across the UK, EU, or EMEA is an advantage.
