Description

Our opportunity

As a Sustainable Production Assistant at BAFTA Albert, you will play a key role in assessing film and television productions against the BAFTA Albert certification standards. Working closely with our small team, you will review sustainability evidence, evaluate certification applications and ensure assessments are conducted consistently and robustly. You'll provide guidance to productions on meeting certification requirements while supporting the wider goal of driving environmental sustainability across the screen industries. Alongside this, you'll have opportunities to contribute to BAFTA Albert's wider projects and programmes.

Climate change is global, as are the screen industries and their supply chains. You'll play a crucial role in enabling productions to engage with their unique opportunities for climate action, working with broadcasters, producers, and educational partners to align with BAFTA AAlbert's aims and ensure our tools, resources, and initiatives remain relevant across those markets.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines environmental expertise with strong communication skills and wants to make a tangible difference in tackling climate change through the screen industries.

Who you are?

You are an excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for sustainability. You enjoy solving problems and providing first class customer service. You are highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple assessments at once. With a positive and proactive approach, you are excited by the opportunity to build your expertise in sustainable production and contribute to the delivery of trusted certification programmes. You relish the opportunity to work for a purpose-led, outcome-focused organisation and you're an adaptable learner who is eager to develop industry knowledge and grow your expertise in this exciting field.
