We are seeking a skilled Testing and Inspection Electrician on a permanent basis to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing in domestic settings. Housing Associations, Councils, and Estate Agents in Birmingham will accept candidates within an hour's drive if happy to travel. The majority of the properties are well kept, so only a few come back with remedials.
Working Hours: Between 8am and 4pm
Responsibilities:
- Remedial works if required (not often)
- Inspection and testing
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Ensure compliance with British electrical standards and regulations
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Test and Inspection Electrician
- Experience within domestic properties (3 years)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Skills and Qualifications:
- Gold JIB Gold Card (desired) or NVQ Level 3 - City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent
- 18th edition or 17th with a planned start date to complete the 18th edition
Requirements:
- Must be able to drive with own transport
