Smarty Schoolwear Ltd, originally founded in 1986 as Smarty Childrenswear in Hatfield Town Centre, has a long-standing history of serving the local community. Rebranded in 2002, the business specializes in providing high-quality school uniforms and is trusted by over 80 schools in Hertfordshire. With three retail stores in Hatfield, Welham Green, and Stevenage, the company is recognized for its personal and professional customer service.
This is a full-time role for 3 days a week + overtime, on-site located in our Stevenage Store for a Sales Assistant. The Sales Assistant will handle customer inquiries, assist customers with purchases, and ensure the store is well-organized and stocked. The role requires maintaining a high standard of customer service, supporting the sales team, and helping to create a positive shopping experience. Additional tasks may include inventory management, processing transactions, and contributing to a tidy and welcoming retail environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and excellent Communication abilities to build rapport with customers and team members
- Experience in Customer Service with a focus on providing a positive customer experience
- Sales skills to meet customer needs and contribute to store performance
- Highly developed Organization Skills to manage tasks and maintain store tidiness
